To ensure our client remains at the top of their game, they require an experienced Business Analyst to perform a range of analysis, communication, and quality assurance tasks.
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Gather, document, and manage current state and future state process maps and workflows
- Plan and facilitate customer interviews and process improvement workshops with multiple stakeholders
- Perform a range of analytical tasks related to business improvement initiatives
- Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements and use cases
- Assist the Process and Requirements Lead in the configuration of business processes and functions within the new technical solutions, ensuring delivery of configuration is according to approved business requirements
- Perform end to end testing of configurations and support user acceptance testing against requirements
- Author and review a wide range of analysis-based documents
- Analyse solution options and recommend preferences based on acquired knowledge of the needs of the customer and technical capacity of the organisation
- Facilitate effective business change management by providing the customer with training, support documentation and assistance with business process change/reengineering
- Adhere to project methodologies, development time frames and project milestones, and escalate blockages or risks to delivery timeframes to the Senior Project Manager or appropriate stream leads
- Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position
- Tertiary degree in an information technology or information systems related discipline or a degree in another discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder engagement and the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organisation
- Substantial experience as a business analyst working in an Agile and/or Waterfall environment
- Extensive experience gathering, documenting, and managing user requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong rapport building and customer negotiation skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled active listener with the ability to effectively question a range of stakeholders
