We have big plans for the Aussie arm of our global business and are now looking for a fantastic Business Development Manager to join our team. Our new BDM will work alongside our Managing Director, responsible for the development of the business through the acquisition of new clients and development of existing business, selling our full range of service offerings to organisations across Australia.
This is a strategic position within the business, with the successful individual having considerable scope to shape the business as it evolves. This is purely a business development role with no responsibility for delivery with accounts being passed to Client Managers and Delivery Consultants, upon instruction. You will, of course, be inherently involved in the ongoing development of those relationships.
Certus Recruitment Australia have two defined divisions. Our Sales & Marketing team focus on permanent recruitment solutions, largely within the Digital, Software& SaaS and Technology sectors. Our IT division focusses on the delivery of both contract and permanent IT recruitment solutions to a range of organisations from government through to hypergrowth tech businesses.

Responsibilities will include:
•Building networks with industry leaders & key individuals across our target sectors
•Leading our charge to be thought leaders within the recruitment sector
•Creating unique and bespoke recruitment and resourcing solutions
•Contributing to the development of new products and services
•Work closely with Marketing partners to ensure targeted marketing
•Attending exhibitions and events
•Responding to incoming enquiries and ‘hot’ leads generated through marketing activities
•Driving revenue growth and profitability across the business
Your attributes will include:
•Proven sales experience within a professional services or similar role (HCM, Recruitment Tech etc.) or the ability to demonstrate a genuine understanding of it.
•Confident in leading meetings and presentations
•Dynamic and personable with a professional yet affable approach
•Entrepreneurial and urgent by nature
•Confident in creation and writing of proposals
•Love face to face interaction and thrive on getting ‘out & about’!
•Degree level education with strong business acumen
•Credible and dedicated to the achievement of personal goals
•Drive, maturity and commercial awareness
•$90-110 Base Salary (plus Super) $150-230 OTE
•Monthly, quarterly and annual incentives including trips away, lunches and other rewards
