With their industry-leading SaaS platform, our client enables organisations to leverage and maximise their IT Systems, globally. Due to the exciting launch of a new division, they have an immediate opening in Melbourne or the East Coast for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong SaaS background. This unique opportunity has the benefit of a Start-Up culture with the backing of a broader and established business.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Work in a new business-focused strategic sales role
- Sell both directly to end-user clients and through channel partners
- Build relationships with solution Providers and Complementary IT providers in order to create broader solutions for clients
- Target large organisations with complex IT environments
- Target various markets, including: Defence, Utilities, Mining & Public Sector
- Bring new opportunities to the organisation as well as taking control of existing pipeline
- Work across multiple internal teams, including Product Development, Presales, Customer Success and Delivery
- Those candidates with strong SaaS sales experience
- Someone who can sell based on business case, not features
- Those accustomed to selling into complex environments
- Knowledgeable and experienced partnership builders/managers
- A real team player who will relish the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
