As a hot tech company, our client has leveraged advanced AI and Machine Learning to develop a well-received L&D platform. This well-funded company is set for phenomenal growth through the build-out of its sales function. They currently have an exciting opening in Melbourne or Sydney for a Business Development Representative.
As a Business Development Representative, you will:
Identify and create newly qualified opportunities and key players
Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
Demonstrate the value of offering through phone calls, email and other social mediums
Understand customer pain points, requirements and provide solutions and potential business value
Set appointments for the sales team when the lead reaches a qualified stage
Ensure pipeline is maintained by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM
The ideal Business Development Representative will:
Be degree level educated and possess 2+ years previous sales experience gained selling SaaS/software solutions
Be able to work autonomously
Have a technical understanding, be an excellent communicator and possess the natural ability to identify opportunities
Be highly motivated, eager to learn, tenacious, determined and driven
Be excited by technology
Have an entrepreneurial spirit and true hunter mentality
The successful Business Development Representative can expect an initial base salary circa 55-70k with an uncapped OTE. In addition, there is a flexible benefits package and career progression available.
