As one of Australia’s largest energy retailers, our client continues to drive the renewable energy market. This growing and dynamic company now has an immediate opening in Melbourne for an Experience Design and Research Lead.

As an Experience Design and Research Lead, you will:

Manage a team of Experience Designers and Researchers
Drive designs across internal and external facing assets
Oversee roadmaps for mobile apps and authenticated web applications
Ensure consistency of customer experience across all channels
Articulate and sell design vision
Work closely with product delivery and development teams
Translate abstract concepts into UI
Develop and mentor team members
Take a hands-on approach
Maximise team engagement and retention

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills, traits, and experience:

UX, UI and visual design for mobile and web apps
5-7 years of native iOS/Android design experience
Problem solver
Critical thinker
Accessibility and responsive design
Mentoring experience
Presentation and communication experience
