This pre-IPO, Canadian headquartered company is expanding in Melbourne. They currently require an Office Manager / HR Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
As an Office Manager, you will:
- Plan & organize employee engagement activities & coordination with vendors
- Lead internal communications such as birthday celebrations, organization announcements & employee engagement communications
- Participate in the recruitment process, coordinate job postings, screening, scheduling and follow up with candidates
- Lead onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Facilitate exit process
- Handle queries related to the employee life cycle
- Manage inventory related to office and kitchen supplies
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and business stakeholders
- Execute administrative task: invoices, payables etc.
- Complete monthly expense reports
- Prepare and make bank deposits
- Receive and distribute mail
- Manage internal events & meetings (online, onsite, and offsite)
- Manage diaries
- Supervise personnel
- Set up and manage appointments, conferences, and events
- Manage office expenditure and budgets
- Complete payroll
- Develop and implement administrative systems
- Manage and order supplies
- Greet company visitors
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Mature and discreet with experience dealing with highly confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Capacity to organize, plan and participate in various projects
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Customer service attitude
