Our client is an exciting and fast-growing technology organisation working at the forefront of the Mobile Application space. This self-funding company leverages cutting-edge technology to build disruptive products and solutions for various industries. Due to growth, they now have an immediate opening for a Product Designer to join their Melbourne based team.

As a Product Designer, you will:

Collaborate on ideation, UX and product concepts
Deliver site mapping, wire framing, high-fidelity design
Create interactive prototypes, when applicable
Design responsive interfaces
Use visual design directions to help brief the developers, then work with developers to implement your design
Help establish and maintain the documentation, pattern libraries, assets and design systems required for the various products and projects

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and traits:

2+ years of hands-on experience in product design
Excellent communication skills
An interest in best practices and new trends
An eye for the details
Ability to rationalise your work
Experience in Figma or the ability to transition to Figma (from Sketch or XD)
A tertiary education, and/or relevant experience.
A passion for our customers and their experiences, whilst addressing our business goals
A creative mindset
Experience in as many of the following as possible: User research and ideation, wire-framing, prototyping, and working with existing brands

It would also be advantageous to possess the following:

An interest in sport
Experience with brand and visual design
Skills in Adobe CC

The successful Product Designer can expect:

An initial base salary circa 80-100k
