Our client is an exciting and fast-growing technology organisation working at the forefront of the Mobile Application space. This self-funding company leverages cutting-edge technology to build disruptive products and solutions for various industries. Due to growth, they now have an immediate opening for a Senior Product Owner to join their Melbourne based team.

As a Senior Product Owner, you will:

Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain your product backlog according to business value
Own your product(s) development lifecycle: from discovery to execution and monitoring in production
Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to define and document product requirements
Analyse, define, and document epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria through a variety of best-practice methods
Prioritise and coordinate requirements/tasks whilst delivering to deadlines

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and traits:

A passion for product and technology and have the customer at the heart of everything you do
At least 6 years’ experience in a digital/technical Business Analyst or Product Owner role
Experience in translating functional requirements into actionable briefs for engineers and designers
Experience working with and prioritising product backlogs
Strong attention to detail
Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group, including executives, managers, subject matter experts and the wider technology team
The desire to take on and assume full responsibility for products

It would also be advantageous to possess the following:

An eye for what customers want, adopting a customer-centric approach
A keen interest in racing and/or sports industries
Experience working in a start-up, wagering industry or heavily regulated environments
Experience in Google Analytics or similar software

The successful Senior Product Owner can expect:

An initial base salary circa 120-140k
