Our client, part of Federal Government has an immediate opening for a UI / UX Designer

on a 12-month project.

As a UI / UX Designer you will, amongst other duties:

Create new and improved user experiences
Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artefacts
Deliver clean and artful design work
Develop innovative and highly usable user interfaces
Work in a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team
Ultimately design and develop product improvements, features, user flows, user interfaces and front-end enhancements

The successful UI / UX Designer will possess the following skills and traits:

3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI Design
a strong portfolio with focus on the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies.
Demonstrated experience in translating high-level, business visions into clear, measurable goals, design concepts and principles
Demonstrated experience in translating high-level, business visions into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes of innovative and highly usable digital experiences
Sketch, Figma, Invision or similar wireframing, design and prototyping tools
HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Problem-solving
Team work
Effective communication skills
Agile experience
Test and analytical tools
